Job Training and Skills Development
Our program builds the foundational skills every worker needs to succeed. Through hands-on training, workplace readiness activities, and community-integrated work program experiences, participants develop the confidence and competence to take on real employment opportunities.
Job Placement and Matching
RT works with 80+ local business partners to match individuals to jobs that fit their strengths, interests, and goals. We take the time to understand both the person and the employer so every placement is built to last. This is supported employment in Ohio done right.
Removing Barriers to Employment
RT helps individuals navigate and overcome significant barriers to employment, including securing work and interview attire, obtaining a valid ID, setting up a bank account, accessing childcare, arranging transportation services, and addressing housing instability.
On-the-Job Coaching
Once placed, participants receive consistent on-site coaching and support through our services. Our Employment Specialists are there to help navigate challenges, reinforce skills, and ensure both the employee and employer feel confident.
Career Advancement Support
Employment is not the finish line. RT works with participants to grow within their roles, explore new opportunities, and build toward long-term career goals through ongoing services and individualized planning. Whether someone is looking to take on more responsibility or transition into a new field, our Employment Specialists are there to help map out the next step.

For Job Seekers
Taking the first step toward employment is exciting, and RT makes it simple. Our team will meet you where you are, learn what matters to you, and build a plan that fits your life.
- Start by working with your VR Counselor through Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) or your SSA through your County Board of Developmental Disabilities to select RT as your employment supports provider.
- Next, talk with an Employment Specialist about your goals, interests, and funding eligibility.
- Complete an intake and begin building your individualized employment plan.
- Get matched with a local employer through RT's community-integrated work program network.
- Receive on-the-job coaching and ongoing support after placement.
