Our Adult Day Services program creates joyful, purposeful days tailored to each person's goals,
interests, and strengths, on-site and out in the community.
Adult Day Services are structured daytime programs designed to help adults with developmental disabilities build skills, make connections, and experience life in the community. Through a mix of on-site activities and community-based experiences, we meet each person where they are, honoring their journey while gently encouraging growth beyond their comfort zones.
RT Industries offers Adult Day Services through several funding pathways. You may be eligible if you meet one of the following criteria:
You may be eligible if you qualify for services through your local County Board of Developmental Disabilities based on Ohio guidelines and live in a county where RT Industries provides services.
Services are available to individuals who may not have funding through DODD. You can choose services and pay privately at standard service rates.
Social Connection & Belonging:
Structured group activities, peer interaction, and relationship-building opportunities designed to foster connection and belonging.
Social Connection & Belonging:
Arts and crafts, fitness, games, music, and other enriching activities that bring fun and purpose to every day.
Community-Based Opportunities:
Extensive community outings and volunteer opportunities that build independence, life skills, and local connections.
Life Skills Development:
Practical skill-building in areas like communication, self-advocacy, daily living tasks, and decision making.
Transportation:
Transportation services that take you to and from daily activities.
Health & Wellness Focus:
Supporting each individual’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being through engaging activities, a safe environment, and opportunities to build healthy routines and habits.
To receive Adult Day Support services, individuals must work with their County Board Service and Support Administrator (SSA) to select RT Industries as their provider. If you are interested in private pay services, contact RT directly to get started.
